Grizzly Peak B & North Point
The first trick to climbing Grizzly B was finding FS579. Here are the trailhead directions
- Drive to Purgatory Resort
- Find FS578 and drive 4 miles on smooth dirt
- Then turn right on FS579 and drive 9.7 miles until it dead ends end near the Colorado Trail. FS579 is not technical but it gets bumpy making for slow driving.
A one way drive on the dirt road is 14.75 miles and took me roughly 1hr 10 mine
There is a fire ring at end of FS579 and enough flat parking for a few vehicles.
