An incredible day on the incredible Middle Teton

A view of the Middle Teton's steep east face from a 2020 climb of the Grand
Heading west towards the South Teton from the meadow
Unlike the icey skinning below treeline, the skinning from the meadow up was relatively mellow

We transitioned to booting for the SW Couloir

Approaching the Middle Teton's SW Couloir
The SW Couloir was great for ascent - skiing it would have been garbage

Summit Selfie
From the summit I down climbed to the notch doing my best not to weight the rope and only use it for 'backup'. We had left our harnesses behind. It was a little tough to find trustable feet lower down on the climb
Jed rapping to the notch
Since we had it out we used the rope to protect the first little bit from the notch
