I'll have to admit that V10 had been on my mind as it has a tough reputation. However other than it's northern slopes below the ridge, it was quite enjoyable. It's northern slopes really weren't all that bad either. V10's east ridge was scambley, fun and navigationally interesting. This whole area is striking... especially the views of Vermillion and Lake Hope.

From the saddle I traversed and ascended a gully that brought me to the saddle at the bottom of V9's west ridge.

Snow, ice and some loose rock made the gully challenging to climb. Glad I had some crampons with me.
