After hiking to camp from the Vallectio TH, I was thinking Thunder might be a nice little quickhit. What I found was a steep bushwhack with kitty litter up high. Not sure if I was just tired but this peak felt more physical than I was anticipating.

After some steep bushwhacking up Thunder's south ridge the terrain opened up. There was plenty of kitty litter

The kitty litter didn't make much of a difference going up. On descent it either make for hero surfing or tedious steps on the steeper rock
