West Partner Peak
Date: 9/25/2020
Partner: Kristi Henes
Trailhead: Booth Creek TH
Distance: 12.25m
Elevation Gain: 5000ft
Duration: 7hrs 45min
Difficlutly: Class 3
Another fun day of scrambling and views in the Gores. The Booth Trail is relatively mellow... but the gully to the ridge was steep. West Partner's south ridge has lots of fun class 3 scrambling on solid rock. Descending the west ridge was also fun and relatatively solid.
12.25m - 5000ft - 7hrs 45min
After 3.5 miles on the trail we headed up a gully to the ridge
Kristi assessing options. It got steep and loose towards the top of the gully. Turns out there was a better gully just a bit further on the trail.
The views were great when we gained the ridge. East Partner and Pitkin Lake

Pitkin Lake and Outpost Peak
Another great view of East Partner and the traverse. After climbing this section to the summit ridge there was still plenty of scrambling to be had.
