Tuning Forks

The Tuning Forks drop about 3000 feet off of Torreys northwest face and are perhaps the easiest way to ski the mountain with a max pitch in the mid 30s.

There are a number of ways to approach/exit the Forks. The map below shows an approach from I-70, up Steven's Gulch and out Grizzly Gulch. However you can also boot up Emperor, the Forks themselves or Kelso Ridge for some extra spice.

I have skied the Tuning Forks as early as April 2nd and as late as June 16th. Oh... drop time for June sunset skis is 8:00pm.
