Redcloud Peak

Our route covered two Centennial 13ers... points 13,838 and 13,820 along with Redcloud and Sunshine Peaks. We hiked 15.5 miles and 6,550ft of vertical in just short of 10 hours. The route started at Silver Creek TH and climbed to the saddle between Redcloud and Cooper Creek Peak. From the saddle we hiked east (left) and did an out and back to points 13,838 and 13,820. There were beautiful views of Redcloud, Sunshine, Uncompahgre and Wetterhorn along this route. From 13,820 we returned to the Redcloud saddle and hiked the standard route for Redcloud and Sunshine. We descended down Sunshine's northwest face and back to Silver Creek to complete our day.
