Storm Peak

We toured into Velocity Basin with hopes of climbing and skiing the iconic Gnar Couloir. However during the climb we found the snow to be refrozen wet slide debris that wasn't going to soften any time soon. We ended up skiing south off of Storm to find other options. Will have to come back and ski this rad looking line.

Stoked to share a summit with this guy. I believe our last shared summit was Sunlight Spire a couple of years back.

With the chunder in Gnar still chunderous, we decided to look at other options and skied off the south side of Storm (which wasn't any better)

After skiing Storm I ascended and skied Grande while Baldwin continued south looking for better snow. Will have to come back and ski Gnar at some point.
