Although it was out of the way I decided to check out Wheeler Lakes

The first of the two Wheeler Lakes was my favorite... glad I took the scenic route

Instead of back tracking to the Wheeler Lakes cutoff, I made my way through trees and meadows back to the trail. It was easy traveling. Jacque Peak to the south
