Over the past few years I have been opting for long days over backpack trips when feasible. The rugged terrain, incredible views and the quirky local mystique of the Gore made this south to north traverse extra special. Setting the shuttle was completely worth it. We used a 30m 8mm rope to summit Peak T.
Much thanks to Brent Herring for input and beta on this route.

Climb to the base of Peak T's summit block on the right. Belay from the mini fridge sized boulder.
Attach an old biner to the end of the rope and toss it from the climbing side to the belay side. Climb this 5.5 corner of the rock to the summit
The climb was easy but we were happy for the rope as it was tough to see feet on descent
Good times on Peak T's summit

Descending T-Prime just northeast of the summit
Stable talus below T Prime. In classic eastern Gore fashion we did a short stint of heavy bushwhacking just after this section. It was 5pm when we reached Upper Slate Lake.
Looking back to Peak L and friends on 11.6m - 1100ft hike back to Harrigan. If you have two 4WD vehicles the Brush Creek TH is about a mile shorter
