- Mount Chapin (12er)
- Mount Chiquita
- Ypsilon Mountain
- Fairchild Moutain

End: Lawn Lake TH
Distance: 20 miles
Elevation Gain: 7050ft
Duration: 13hrs
A long walk in the park with great views of Longs Peak and friends. The day is mostly hiking with a touch of fun class 3 scrambling near the top of Hauges Peak's. Tag the unranked Rowe 13ers if you have the energy and time. While the Rowes aren't overly impressive its fun to get close to Rowe Glacier.
Although many have done this route without a shuttle... getting dusted by cars on the dull 8 mile section of Old Fall River Road at the end of the day would be both punishing and anit-climatic.
However if a car shuttle isn't possible consider the following options:
- Hike clockwise and have an e-bike waiting for you at the Lawn Lake TH
- Hike counter clockwise and have an aucoustic bike waiting for you at the Chapin Creek TH
Note: Old Fall River Road (groomed 2WD) is one way east to west, so option #2 requires extra driving. Reaching Lawn Lake TH from Chapin Creek in a car is done via Trail Ridge Road.
Friends, a shuttle and a clockwise route are the way to go on this one.

Coming off of Ypsilon. Brian Miller describes Desolation (front and center) as a 'solid scramble' and worth coming back for.
![Mummy 09]()
Descending Ypsilon was somewhat tedious

However climbing Fairchild was blocky and solid... not as bad as it looks

The Rowe peaks were less than impressive however Rowe Glacier Lake was pretty cool

The terrain to the base of Mummy (the last summit of the day) was tedious. However climbing Mummy was GTG
