The road to the Lead King TH takes about an hour of focused driving. Don't do it in the dark. The hike to Snowmass Peak is pleasant until you reach the ascent gully which is loose and tedious. The views on this hike are amazing and it is pretty cool to stand on Snowmass Peak's summit and look down to the lake and across to Snowmass Mountain. Views of the Bells aren't too shabby either.

The talus was kinda loose... thankfully the snow was supportable and not too slick. The sun cups made for nice footing

The gully was rather nasty up the middle. I found solid rock to climb on both sides of the gully.
