Let me start by saying the Little Cimarron Loop is not little.
This is one of my favorite non-techical big days. If you are a runner or just like big days put this on your list. Easy going terrain and amazing views.
I orginally did this loop in June of 2023. However I came back in October of 2023 with Kristi and climbed PT13060UR, PT13051 and PT13016. The track from the October trip is included in the GPX file but the stats are from the larger loop.
In additon, for the larger June loop, consider setting up a bike shuttle between the Fall Creek and Little Cimarron East THs. It will save close to 4 miles on the road.
Also... the descent route from PT13016 is better on the PT13060UR track in the GPX than the big loop track.

Looking for opportunities to leave the trail and start climbing
It was a good ascent route
Looking south to the ridge while climbing sheep
Looking over to my route close to Sheep's summit
Sheep... the first summit of the day! Dang it is windy up here. In fact it remained fairly windy for most of the day
Looking south along the ridge to the first half of my day
Wow... I wonder who do dat?
Approaching the second peak of the day PT13100B

Looking back to PT13681 from Silver
Silver and still windy
Next stop Big Blue(UR) front and center. Uncompahgre is right up in my grill
Summit pitch to Big Blue
Pretty cool being this close to Uncompahgre's north face. If you do this loop be sure to tag Big Blue!
Oh Boy... Glissading roughly 1000ft of vert. I am now halfway around the loop. Heading over the the round rolling peaks in the sun
Looking up at Silver's southeast face
Looking back to Big Blue and my glissade line
