Segers Canyon
*
Seger's Canyon is located close to Hanksville UT... west of Moab. It is a relatively long canyon with 17+ rappels and many swims. Michael Poland, Kristi Floyd Henes and I have done Seger's twice now. The canyon was more difficult the second around as the water levels were high enough that you couldn't touch the bottom in the potholes... but low enough that you couldn't simply climb out. We also encountered missing rappel bolts requiring the construction make shift rappel anchors. Seger's is an amazing canyon... beautiful and challenging. This album is a best of from our Seger's trips.

Our rope got stuck on the first rappel. When we finally freed it a number of rocks came down with it.
